Advocating & legislation
Despite the advances in legislation regarding children who are victims of abuse and neglect, Israel still does not have a comprehensive legal vision in relation to this issue. The existing legal infrastructure needs to be refreshed and renewed, and missing sections need to be added. Therefore, we must constantly look uneasily on the empty side of the glass, and work tirelessly to change and to promote legislation related to this issue. Once new legislation is accepted it can change and impact the lives of tens of thousands (or more) children, in the present and in the future.
Here you can take a look at our legislative work and read about several laws that are in the process of making and promotion. This is a long and difficult task, and we are proud to be among its standard-bearers.
